I started this post after someone emailed me a story about Senate Bill SB-2099, which would require us to put on our 2010 1040 federal tax Form all guns that you have or own. It may require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun. Checked it out and it's false, but I'll post something a friend emailed anyway...

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE

"Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who do not."
~Thomas Jefferson

“Those who trade liberty for security have neither.”
~John Adams

Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject

Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.
Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.

You only have the rights you are willing to fight for.

Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.

You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.

Assault is a behavior, not a device.

64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.
The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.

Guns have only two enemies; rust and politicians.

When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

  1. wow...really agree with Bruce Coburn who said that the right wing terror against the peasants in South America make him change his mind about the population being armed...but call this what it is..
The American Revolution happened because of economics, and not superior fire power... if the King of England hadn't decided we weren't worth the expense in North America, that the colonies didn't produce enough wealth to make them worth fighting for, we'd all still be singing "God Save The Queen", and not the Sex Pistols version, either...

  2. I am certain that guns and the courage of free thinking men had more to do with defeating what evolved into British oppression then British government trying balance the check book that year

  3. At least you didn't post the "guns don't kill people, people kill people with guns" thing. Or anything about prying and your cold dead hands.
