Oh, I don't know if there's some kind of luck or anything, like if you find a weapon on a battlefield, but I found this knife deep in the sand on the obstacle course the morning of the physical tests while I was doing a recon walk through. Was caked with sand but it cleaned up pretty good. Found rght behind that wall, which you go over.

  1. Tip of the day: Don't be the guy that loses his knife! Square your kit away then jump up and down for a minute...see what fall out. Then drag yourself through the wire and make sure you don't get snagged.

Ok...I've read the heading about 20 times. I just have to know, how will I know when the Abyss is looking back at me? and what if I like it?!

You are the man Steve. Do good for all of us.

  7. Hey Steve, I am processing right now to join you. I am set for PAST in December, it should be cold and I am a Southern boy! The Endurance run, is it up and down those stairs and out to the end of the rifle range and back, if so, how many times. (I have been there before for other training.) I just simulated in on the treadmill with 41 lbs and a S12 at 2:04. I think I am go to go, but treadmills are not real running ... Thanks for the blog and take care!
